Medical-Objects Pty Ltd began from Buderim Gastroenterology Centre in 2002. Initially developed by Dr Andrew McIntyre, he conceived, instigated, directed and managed the Medical-Objects development project. Much of the work has come from Andrew's blend of specialist medical experience and expertise and intimate understanding of all HL7 protocols, both internationally and domestically.

Today Medical-Objects is developed in a team of highly skilled professional developers and analysts from around the country and supported by a team of friendly support technicians. With this in mind, Medical-Objects aims to provide cutting edge technology and offer provide friendly service to its customers.

What makes Medical-Objects unique is its standards based implementation, the ability to be distributed over a large network, intelligent presentation and interpretation of clinical data, the ability to send out AS4700.2 compliant ORU messages, as well as support additional medical standards such as AS4700.6, HL7 2.3.1 and PIT.

As of June 2007 Medical-Objects remains the only organisation to produce AHML certified HL7 messages.
