Medical-Objects Download Client is a lightweight download utility that allows you to retrieve your results when they become available. Running on Windows™ systems it connects to one or more Medical-Objects Servers to download new results as soon as they are available.

Medical-Objects Download Client fully supports PGP version 2.6 and PKI and all traffic is in HL7. Results are placed in your application 'in' directory and are imported the same way you import pathology, with no user intervention required.

Medical-Objects Download Client has the ability to split results into several queues and convert these results to PIT or Images if HL7 is not supported by your clinical software that you use including Genie, Best Practice and Medical Director. It uses standard HL7 ACKs to ensure guaranteed delivery. For those applications that do not support import, Medical-Objects Download Client includes a twain interface allowing you to allow images to be scanned directly into GP applications. Running as a service for reliable unattended operation, as a application that sits in your Windows tray icon, scheduled to run at particular times or run directly, Medical-Objects Download Client allows a variety of operation modes so it works in the way you want to work rather than locking you into a single inflexible scheduling mode.

All Medical-Objects Download Clients are monitored by medical objects to detect connection problems early. Once installed and configured, operating Medical-Objects Download Client is transparent and works in the way that you work.
