Divisions of General Practice and Medicare Locals
Are you a Division of General Practice or Medicare Local that is interested in adopting Australia’s most widely used and nationally recognised secure messaging solution with over 20,000 connected users Australia-wide
Medical Objects have already undertaken mass rollouts of our secure messaging software in divisions across Australia and are now delivering millions of messages per year across all ranges of health professionals. From Hospitals, Pathology Labs, and Diagnostic Imaging, to General Practitioners, Specialists, and Allied Health sites.
In 2008 General Practice Queensland (GPQ) sponsored health professionals across Queensland to install Medical Objects as the chosen Secure Messaging Client for their 2 year long iHealth Care project. During this period Medical Objects was installed in thousands of practices across Queensland, Since the end of the iHealth Care secure messaging subsidy in mid-2010, the number of health providers using Medical-Objects has increased from 9 320 to 11 251, an increase of 21%.
The installs were co-ordinated between Medical-Objects and division staff and the healthy relationship between ourselves and many of these divisions still exists today.
See the GPQ iHealth Care webpage for information and statistics relating to the project.
Medical Objects are currently working on mass installs of our client within Divisions across NSW, Western Australia and South Australia, as well as large scale rollouts to hundreds of GP’s and Specialists in Victoria.
Many Divisions using Medical-Objects initially set up a few doctors and sent messages to test the system. It’s easier to answer questions if you’ve had hands on experience yourself. It allows you to understand what is involved in the initial installation and to see how easy it is to set up.
You’ll see first hand how ‘user friendly’ Medical-Objects is, and that minimal IT knowledge is needed to integrate electronic messaging into the daily routine of the practice.
The iHealth Care secure messaging project with Medical-Objects was highly successful and provided Queensland health professionals with a high level of connectivity that has them well positioned to benefit from current and future eHealth projects. The support provided to GPQ, Divisions and health professionals by Medical-Objects during the iHealth Care project was first class.
