1. Gateway Edition
The Gateway Edition for Radiology is used by vendors who already have a Radiology system that creates HL7 or PIT messages. We can integrate with the majority of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) in the market such as Occam, Comrad and Kestral. We receive the HL7 and PIT results or messages and then send them through the Medical-Objects network to over 14, 000 health professionals.

2. Full Radiology Edition
The Full Radiology Edition provides radiologists, sonographers and radiographers (includes Nuclear Medicine) with a suite of tools to co-ordinate their work, create, manage and communicate notes and reports with the added bonus of attaching DICOM images. With support for reports as simple or as complex as you need as well as the tools, service and offering to make it as simple or as powerful as you need.
If you have a need or desire to produce the next generation of Radiology reports, then Medical-Objects can assist you to develop highly detailed and clinically useful reports containing Snomed-CT encoded atomic data. Our network supports linking of DICOM images using the HL7 “RP” (Reference Pointer) protocol. This means you can send out reports with links to DICOM images stored on your server and the images can be retrieved dynamically by end users either in native DICOM format or a JPEG representation of the image. This gives end users access to full quality images without forcing them to download large DICOM files. All image transfer is encrypted and authenticated using Public Key Encryption/Signatures.
Radiographer and Sonographer Edition (Satellite Sites)
Our solutions can provide radiologists the ability to connect with other satellite radiographer practices and vice versa. Radiography practices can communicate securely with radiologists and send reports between the two destinations.
